Thick Blood is a specialized gel-like substance, tinted to mimic the color of arterial blood, that enables artists to easily produce realistic raised blood effects for simulated fresh wounds and injuries. Achieving instant abrasions and road rash is as simple as using a stipple sponge to scrape along the skin.

There are an abundance of ways you can use Thick Blood to simulate injuries. A stainless steel spatula can be an ideal tool for removing it from the container and applying it.

Wash off the skin and props with warm, soapy water.

Fill the depths of prosthetics with Thick Blood for enhanced realism. You can create the perfect bloody nose by applying Thick Blood around the nostrils with a disposable cotton swab applicator. Create splits on the nose and in the eyebrows by applying it with a Round Point Brush.
