Refund policy

We accept returns for new, unopened products in original sellable condition within 30 days of receiving your order. Eligible items may be refunded to the original payment method or exchanged for store credit.

Return Shipping & Restocking Fee

If you change your mind about a product, return shipping costs and a 10% restocking fee are the responsibility of the customer. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Non-Eligible Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Mascara and liquid liners
  • Sage wands
  • Any product that has been opened, used, or unsealed

Note: Damage to the outer product box (unit carton) during shipping is not considered damaged merchandise and does not qualify for a return or refund.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please photograph the packaging and the product and email customerservice@themakeupaltar.com within 72 hours of delivery. We will provide a return label to resolve the issue. All returns must be received within 30 days of the original delivery date.

International Orders

Customs and duty fees are not included at checkout and are the responsibility of the customer. If a package is refused or returned due to unpaid customs fees, any additional return shipping charges will be deducted from the store credit issued upon receipt of the returned package.

EU Customers

In accordance with EU Directive 2023/2673, EU customers may submit a withdrawal request within 14 days of receiving their order using the withdrawal button available on our store. Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply to products that have been opened or unsealed, as they cannot be returned for hygiene and health protection reasons.
