The Makeup Altar Pro Membership

The Makeup Altar Pro Membership offers U.S. and Canadian working professionals in makeup, hair, and other industry related professions varying discounts on a wide range of brands and products used regularly in the line of work. The Makeup Altar Pro Members will also receive electronic newsletters and notifications on special events, and have first access to our makeup and masterclass workshops.

What the The Makeup Altar Pro Membership Offers: 

  • Makeup artists receive an exclusive 20%-40% discount for all makeup, makeup tools and makeup accessories.
  • Drag Queens, Burlesque Dancers, Dancers, Musicians, and Theatre Actors who rely on makeup for stage also receive an exclusive 20%-40% discount for all makeup, makeup tools and makeup accessories. 
  • Other industry-related professionals such as aestheticians, qualify for 20% off as long as makeup is involved in your profession.
  • Students enrolled in makeup school (one day or two day masterclasses and online courses do not qualify) qualify for 20% off. Membership will expire in one year. Once expired you will have to reapply for membership.

Please provide pro status by uploading one of the listed credits below as well as a photo ID to verify your identity. 

  • Makeup Union Card
  • Cosmetology License: Need to see your work as a makeup artist too. Please also submit professional website or Instagram.
  • Esthetician License: Need to see your work as a makeup artist too. Please also submit professional website or Instagram.
  • Professional Makeup Website and or Instagram Account
  • Professional Instagram account and/or website dedicated to your Music, Theatre, Dance, Drag or Burlesque. These need to show that your profession requires makeup.
  • School Enrollment. Single Masterclasses do not qualify *membership will last for one year. Once expired you will need to reapply.
  • Picture ID to verify your identity: ID, DL or Passport
