Each calendar has 24 of the weirdest, wildest, most frighteningly festive legendary creatures from around the world that are associated with the Christmas holidays.

You won't find chocolate behind each window, but you will find La Befana of Italy, the Mari Lwyd of Wales, all 13 of the Icelandic Yule Lads (plus their mom and their cat), Ukraine's helpful holiday decorating spiders and many many more.

All advent calendars are 0n 8.5" x 11" paper and the little doors for opening are hand cut. The calendar comes encased in a protective sleeve with a backing board for easy storage so you can reuse it year after year.

This is an advent calendar that follows the story of Krampus. Nothing says "we remember the old ways" at the holidays quite like 24 days of watchful terror for the supernatural. Scary Christmas to all and to all a good fright.

On the day of the month that correlates to the day on the advent calendar you will gently follow the tear line of each square and open the box for each day.
