Flocking is an additional color additive made from very fine polyamide fibers. This product is suitable to simulate a natural skin complexion. Add a little amount of Flocking into Artex, Gel-Foam or other transparent or semi-transparent carriers in order to create fine veining of the skin.

Made from extremely fine polyamide fibers, Flocking is designed to be mixed into transparent or semi-transparent SFX materials to reproduce the subtle veining, undertones, and natural color variations found in real skin.

Add a small amount to Kryolan Artex, Gel-Foam, or other compatible transparent carriers to create depth and dimension from within the material rather than relying solely on surface painting. This technique is particularly useful for creating realistic silicone prosthetics, wounds, appliances, and character effects.

Available in a wide range of colors—including skin tones, reds, blues, greens, browns, grays, and UV-reactive shades—Flocking gives professional makeup artists extensive control over the final appearance of their creations. Kryolan notes that skin-tone flocking can produce a translucent color effect, while red and blue tones can help simulate circulation and natural undertones.
