What You'll Need

• Kryolan Glatzan Bald Cap
• Kryolan GF-QAT to slick down hair
• Professional prosthetic adhesive (Spirit Gum, Pros-Aide, or compatible adhesive)
• Appropriate adhesive remover (such as Kryolan HD Pro Gum Remover Gel)
• Small scissors
• Acetone (for professional edge blending)
• Cream or alcohol-activated makeup
• Translucent setting powder

Step 1: Prep Your Hair

Start with clean, dry skin. Apply Kryolan GF-QAT to slick hair flat against the scalp, combing it smooth and allowing it to dry completely. For longer hair, wrap or pin it as flat as possible.

Step 2: Position & Trim

Gently stretch the cap over your head, positioning around the hairline, ears, and nape. Mark and carefully trim excess material, leaving enough edge for adhesion.

Step 3: Secure the Cap

Apply your chosen professional adhesive to clean skin, following its instructions. Secure the forehead first, then the nape, temples, and around the ears. Smooth out wrinkles as you go.

Step 4: Blend the Edges

For a seamless finish, experienced artists can carefully dissolve the Glatzan edges using a tiny amount of acetone on a fine brush.

PRO TIP: Acetone is for dissolving the plastic edge, not applying directly to skin. Use extreme caution and avoid eyes and sensitive areas.

Step 5: Apply Makeup

Blend the cap into your skin tone using compatible cream or alcohol-activated makeup. Set with translucent powder for a natural finish.

How to Remove

Never pull or rip off your bald cap!
