Great for self love and self care too, when you need to be kind to yourself use pink. Pink is often associated with healing and nurturing, and it is believed to have a calming and soothing effect on the mind and body. Pink candles are for drawing in affection, romance, happiness, empathy, connection, warmth, intimacy, loyalty, integrity, togetherness, new relationships, friendship, joy, harmony, forgiveness, and emotional healing. Before lighting your candle and beginning your spell, take a moment to meditate and set your intention so that your ask is clear. Place an offering near. Write a letter or note toward your intention. Burn at the start of the candle or at the end while thanking the universe and your ancestors. When done you can collect the left over ashes and wax for your Dark Moon Hecate offering or discard in nature while thanking the universe.

With all candles, if you want to enhance or attract something or someone, it’s best to light the candle at the New Moon or when the moon is waxing (going from new to full).
If you want to decrease or release something, light your candle when the moon is full or waning (going from full to new)

A note from Dzi the candlemaker: I make these candles with very hot wax so that the energy of the plants and herbs I use diffuses deep into the candle, you can feel it by the smell. I dip the candle a specific number of times into the wax while I whisper words from a special Latvian tradition from our ancestors. The herbs I use are from my garden and nearby forrest. They are linden tree flower, mint ,lavander, rose, chamomile, sage, cadip, cornflower, wormwood, yarrow and juniper. I also put black salt in with my herbs.
